Message	You must be leaving something out since it makes sense as written. What he is saying is this DE = q + w Also known as the 1st Law of Thermodynamics, with a bit of second and third laws thrown in. A few years ago Smokey Yunick made a small block chevy that ran at about 600 or 1100 degrees can't recall.... Well anyhow it was so cool when it came out, that i looked and just found a bit on it.
